Math Journal and Projects
Math Journal-Earns you extra credit towards test
You are required to keep a Math Journal, in which you are expected to keep all class notes on new vocabulary words and new concepts that you learn in this class. This journal can be used as a resource to help you with your homework and taking tests (some exceptions may apply). I believe this is an essential tool to have. Prior to each test I will do a thorough check and depending on how well you kept your journal will determine how many extra credit points you will be receiving towards your test.
First Project (not yet scheduled)
Students will be grouped in 2. Each group will be assigned a Property of Real Numbers to investigate. Each class period will have their own google doc preso. When each group gets their property completed they will add it to the class periods google doc preso. Once that is completed it will be transferred to a Keynote where we will then upload it to Slide Share. Be creative.
